Team Seleni Runs the 2014 TCS New York City Marathon

Team Seleni is training hard to run the 2014 TCS New York City Marathon on Sunday, November 2nd, and their goal is to raise $25,000 to support the Seleni Institute.

The team's run directly contributes toward raising awareness about maternal mental health, and raising funds for our core mission: clinical care, online information, and research funding for women's reproductive and maternal mental health and well-being.

Every mile of training becomes that much more meaningful for the team knowing they have support like yours. Please support a runner today

Our Official Trainer

Joanna Paterson is the official trainer for Team Seleni and brings to the job more than 18 years combining her passion for health, fitness, and being outside. Ms. Paterson, founder of Bodiesynergy and a specialist in strength and endurance training, has fitness certifications too many to list, but is herself a long distance cycler and is excited to push all of us to achieve our own personal endurance bests. Ms. Paterson is a great fit to support Seleni as she has been supporting and designing fitness programs for parents and babies since 2009. Keep up with her on Twitter @bodiesynergy.

Rebecca Benghiat

Rebecca Benghiat brings over 20 years of executive administrative experience to Seleni, with deep expertise on the intersection of health policy, regulatory law, women’s issues, and mental health on both a community and national level.
